MIXED BLOOMS is sitcom about a bi-racial family who runs a suburban flower shop. The series follows Kim Fluge (Teresa Huang, FX’s “The Riches”) and her husband Brian (John Schaffer, 2011 Dances With Films selection, STAN) as they attempt to keep their little flower shop afloat while raising a curious teenager (Cortney Lee).
Kim is alternately helped and hindered by her colleagues, which include her player brother, Chad (Alvin Lam), and seasoned floral designer, Jessica (Pamela Mattioli) who is more interested in men than flowers. Across the parking lot stands Mega Market, whose manager (Toni Domanico) is in constant competition with Kim. Luckily, The Fluges have a creative streak and passion for flowers that (sorta) get them over the many hurdles of running a small business.
